Although I am quite acustomed with travels as you can see from this web site, this trip was challenging. Long distance drive and time to see the wild nature, adjust a low budget with staying in a typical scotish County House were not so easy. Of course, we were tired because of the never ending sunset till late at night.
We spent nights in Youth Hostels and sometimes the next day on a luxurius scotish House. We spent hours driving but hours playing on the beach too, or even waiting for a unexpected bus to go far in the North.
Thanks to Patrice for the cartographic preparation of the trip: a 6 day-road 1000 mile journey from/to glasgow.

Oh yes, I forgot another humm... thing. THE car ! We had to drive left for the first time of our life, and it may be confusing. I had to drive out of Glasgow the very first day. Several time we did not adjust correctly the distance to the road left border and the tires went into mod... Hopefully, we drove quite slowly and carefully as Scotich people do.
